Soldiers coming home. Not to their family and everyday life, but to the forests. After facing war on the very edge of civilisation, they retreat to nature … to the wilderness.
Based on interviews with returning soldiers and their family members Nature Wild unfolds as a hybrid of documentary video set design, electronic beats, opera, indie, dance and performance art … The body’s own sound in between breaking branches. Join us when the struggle to return home takes a detour in the human mind and a trip into the wild.
With nature as a frame and through music, songs, videos, and choreography,
4 Nordic artists allow us to encounter returning soldiers and their stories about
life in the forest and the use of nature for healing.
