A! FESTIVAL
Since I was a child, 12 years old, I have been in the theater industry, working and participating. My friends parent´s had an resputable acting school for adults, me and my friend were 15 years old when we started and we studied for 2 years. My sister is an actress, she had her own various projects that she involved me in, so I was constantly learning. Those years motivated me to work in the cultural scene. When I worked at Kramhúsið for 5 years (yoga and dance company), age of 25, they got involved in various projects across the city. We collaborated with a numer of events in the city: Cultural night in Reykjavík, international Tango festivals, putting on nights for famous bands performing in Iceland. Part of my job was to promote our international teachers for extra gigs in the capital. That experience was amazing and prepared me for the 10 year festival career in Akureyri.
